You may make an appointment to see Deborah Wilson, MD; Jennifer Simone, MD; or Rachel Spieldoch, MD. We also offer appointments with any one of our four Nurse Practitioners; Peggy DeCarolis, Paula Mazzacano, Barbara Higgins, or Robin Parry. Our Nurse Practioners have been with the practice for many years and are trained to handle most gynecologic problems. They are supervised closely by the physicians.
Our office offers the following services:
- Three dimensional ultrasound for the evaluation of ovarian cysts and uterine abnormalities.
- In-office hysteroscopy, which allows the physician to visualize the uterine cavity and detect polyps, fibroids, and uterine cancer.
- State-of-the-art bone densitometry, which will detect and quantify bone loss.
- Colposcopy, which is a magnified view of the cervix, vagina, or vulva. We are able to detect areas of dysplasia or cancer visually. You can watch your examination on your own screen.
- CO2 laser for removal of skin, vaginal, or cervical lesions.
- Loop procedures for cervical dysplasia.
- In-office D&C for early miscarriages.
- Ultrasound guided ovarian cyst drainage.
- Multilight system that uses light therapy to eliminate spider veins, pigmented lesions, and unwanted hair.
- Electrolysis.
- Nutrition and weight loss counseling.

We welcome and encourage you to call the office if you have a problem or question. Please make non-emergency calls between 9 am and 5 pm During this time, your records are readily available.
If you have a non-emergency medical question, a nurse or nurse-practitioner will get back to you by telephone or e-mail as soon as she has a break in her patient care responsibilities. The nurses, nurse practitioners and the doctors have found that e-mail communication, except in the case of an emergency, is much more efficient than trying to reach the patient by phone.
If you have a question, please send an e-mail to our triage office. If it requires the attention of a nurse practitioner or a physician, the e-mail will be forwarded to the appropriate practitioner. As soon as the nurse practitioner or doctor has a break in her schedule, she will answer the e-mail and send it to the triage office to be delivered to you. This cycle is usually accomplished in less than 24 hours. If you do not have e-mail access, your question will be answered by the practitioner, and you will be called by the triage office with the response to your question. You may receive your message through the Med-Voice system.
Very important! If you are expecting a return call, please remove your call blocking system. Our back line numbers are blocked.
For a prescription refill, we ask that you call 480.860.9505 and leave a message, or better yet, e-mail your request. Unless you hear otherwise, your prescription will be called in within 24 hours.
Urgent or emergency calls are accepted at all hours. Call our main number (480.860.4791) and you will be directed to call the answering service. A nurse practitioner will be contacted and you should receive a return call soon. Please remember to remove call blocking. If you do not receive a call within 30 minutes, please call back. Occasionally, we encounter functional difficulties with our paging system and in this case, the answering service can assist you with alternative methods of contacting us. In the highly unusual situation that you are unable to contact the answering service, please go to the hospital emergency room.

Our office is open for appointments from 7 am to 6 pm on Monday through Friday. We also have Saturday hours from 9 am to 4 pm. We are closed between noon and 1 pm. Patient visits are by appointment only. Due to the high demand for appointments, we request that you confirm your appointment with us a day prior to your appointment date. We will provide you with a courtesy reminder call prior to your appointment. If you have made an appointment and cannot keep it, please call at least 24 hours in advance so that we may offer your time slot to someone else. If your managed care plan requires a pre-authorization by your primary care provider for your visit, this must be properly obtained or you cannot be seen.
Due to the unpredictability of gynecology, there are times when the practitioner you are scheduled to see will be delayed by hospital or office emergencies. Although every attempt is made to see patients promptly, sometimes the schedule must be adjusted. For this reason, we ask that you call the office an hour before your appointment and confirm that you will be seen on time. If you have an appointment with a physician and she has encountered an emergency, you will be offered an alternative appointment or you may choose to be seen by one or our highly skilled nurse practitioners. Our nurse practitioners are trained to diagnose and treat gynecologic problems, and perform thorough annual examinations.
If you have a problem that requires emergency care, we will rearrange the scheduled appointments so that you may be seen that day.
